Amazonite is one of the sacred green stones that were valued by the ancient Egyptians. It is said to have been one of the stones used in the breastplate of the high priest and has been used in jewellery for centuries. Named after the Amazon River, this stone was worn by the South American Indians to protect them from poisonous bites. Because of its high copper content, amazonite is very healing and is a good stone for looking after one’s general health. Thought to be helpful for soothing the emotional processes and relieving worries and fears, amazonite soothes irritating and negative energy .
The Amazonite stones are known to develop serenity on several levels :
- chromotherapy : their blue lagoon color is known for its soothing action.
- oligotherapy : the stones diffuse the trace elements and the minerals which compose them (*).
- energetic aspect : amazonite stones are real mini-power plants. Their calmings vibrations communicate to the perfume a unique and beneficent energy.

WHY IT WORKS?
The nose is directly connected to the part of the brain where the emotions sit. Numerous clinical studies show that certain smells have the power to activate particular emotions in a conscious way (Proust’s madeleine) but also in an unconscious way and linked to our human species. The aromachology studies this link between scents and psychology and is at the base of our perfumes.
